This Privacy Policy explains how CornerCast (“CornerCast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CornerCast website, the CornerCast studio application, and the related services we provide (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.
- Business and creative inputs. The business name, website or maps link, and information we retrieve about your business from public sources; images or logos you upload; and the notes, prompts, and preferences you enter to personalize your video.
- Generated creatives. The videos and related assets the Service produces for you.
- Communications. When you contact support, request help with a creative, submit feedback, or request Connected TV (“CTV”) placement, we collect your email and the contents of your message, along with any business or contact details you include.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you view, referring pages, and how you interact with the Service, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Diagnostic data. Error and performance logs that help us keep the Service reliable and secure.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Stripe provides us with limited transaction details—such as confirmation, amount, and status—so we can fulfill your order.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide and operate the Service, research your business, and generate your video;
- process payments and fulfill your orders;
- deliver your downloads and, when you request it, facilitate CTV placement;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- maintain the security of the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems;
- analyze usage to understand and improve the Service;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service; and
- send you service-related messages and, where you have not opted out, occasional updates.
3. How AI processing works
We use third-party AI and media-generation providers to process your inputs and produce your video. We do not sell your content, and we do not use the business inputs or creatives you submit to train general-purpose or foundation AI models.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and to understand how the Service is used. We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and improve the Service, and an error-monitoring service (Sentry) to detect and diagnose problems. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us run the Service under contract, including Google (sign-in and analytics), Stripe (payments), our AI and media-generation providers, cloud hosting, and error monitoring (Sentry).
- CTV placement. If you request placement on Connected TV, with the media partners needed to evaluate and run your campaign.
- Legal and safety. To comply with applicable law or lawful requests, and to protect the rights, safety, and property of CornerCast, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If CornerCast is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (see “Your choices and rights” below). Some information may remain in backups or where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data. Depending on where you live—for example, in the EEA or UK under the GDPR, or in California under the CCPA/CPRA—you may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@cornercast.tv; we may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
You can also:
- opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages;
- control or disable cookies through your browser settings; and
- disconnect CornerCast from your Google account settings.
9. International users
We operate in the United States and process information there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and for users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites and services that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices; please review their policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
