These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and CornerCast (“CornerCast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the CornerCast website, the CornerCast studio application, and the related services we provide (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organization. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. The Service
CornerCast is an AI video production studio. You provide inputs about a business—such as a website or maps link, optional images, and notes to personalize the video—and the Service uses artificial intelligence to write, generate, and render a short video commercial (a “Generated Creative”). You can preview and download your Generated Creative, request help from our team, and optionally ask us to place it on Connected TV (“CTV”). Because creatives are produced using AI, output may vary in quality and content and may require review or revision.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in to the Service using Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity under it. Notify us promptly at support@cornercast.tv if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend, refuse, or cancel accounts at our discretion, including where we believe these Terms have been violated.
4. Your content and inputs
“Your Content” means the business information, links, logos, images, text, prompts, and other materials you submit to the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights and permissions necessary to submit Your Content and to have us generate advertising from it, and that Your Content and its use do not infringe any third party’s rights or violate any law.
You grant CornerCast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works from Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you—for example, to research your business and to generate, render, store, and deliver your Generated Creative.
5. Generated creatives and ownership
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, CornerCast assigns and licenses to you the rights it holds in the Generated Creatives we produce for you, so that you may use, reproduce, distribute, and display them for your own advertising and business purposes.
Because Generated Creatives are produced using AI and may incorporate stock, AI-generated, or commonly used elements, we cannot guarantee that any Generated Creative is unique, and we do not grant you exclusivity in underlying stock, music, fonts, templates, or AI-generated components. Similar outputs may be generated for other users. Some elements may be subject to third-party license terms that pass through to your use. You are solely responsible for reviewing each Generated Creative and for ensuring that your use of it—including any claims, pricing, endorsements, logos, and trademarks—complies with applicable law and with the standards of any platform or network on which you publish or air it.
6. Fees, billing, and taxes
Certain features of the Service require payment. We charge a one-time fee per Generated Creative, based on factors such as the video’s length and the options you select. The price is shown to you before you purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe; by purchasing, you authorize the charge and agree to Stripe’s terms. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We may change our prices prospectively. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
7. Money-back guarantee and refunds
We stand behind our work with a money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a Generated Creative, contact us at support@cornercast.tv and we will work with you to make it right or refund the amount you paid for that creative. If a generation fails for technical reasons, you may regenerate it at no additional charge. Except as described in this guarantee or as required by law, payments are non-refundable.
8. Connected TV placement (optional)
If you ask us to place a Generated Creative on Connected TV through the Service, that request is handled separately by our team and media partners and is subject to additional review, availability, advertising standards, and a separate quote or agreement. Submitting a request does not guarantee placement; we may decline a request or require changes. Any fees for CTV placement are separate from creative-generation fees and will be communicated to you before you commit to them.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, or any Generated Creative, to:
- violate any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- create false, deceptive, or misleading advertising, or impersonate any person or business;
- promote hate, harassment, violence, illegal goods or services, or content that exploits or endangers minors;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- reverse engineer the Service; or
- resell the Service, or use the Service or its outputs to build or train a competing product, service, or AI model.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), AI and media providers used to generate your video, cloud hosting, and CTV media partners. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the CornerCast name, logos, software, and content (excluding Your Content and Generated Creatives), is owned by CornerCast or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED CREATIVES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not meet your expectations. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any Generated Creative will be non-infringing or fit for a particular purpose, or that your advertising will achieve any particular result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CornerCast will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CornerCast and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your Generated Creatives and how you use or publish them, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
15. Term, suspension, and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law—will survive termination.
16. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@cornercast.tv. If we cannot resolve it, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
18. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and CornerCast regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You consent to receive communications from us electronically.
